040409 - Run

On Monday I went to the gym after work and did a 45 minute run.  I warmed up a bit and then followed Max's instructions:  5 X 90 second intervals at threshold.  I have to say this was the first time I did a workout like this.  I cranked the treadmill up to around a 6 min mile pace and ran like hell for 90 seconds.  Then I ran at an easy pace for 3 minutes and repeated.  It felt good to get the legs moving fast!  I got my HR up in the high 170s on each interval.
